Learning new things, both technical and non technical, is part of growing fresh skills.

If we take this blog as an example. I’m not a developer and had never worked with technologies ‘Hugo’, ‘Go’ or something called ‘Chocolatey’ before.

I accidently broke my own blog site three times before it finally came together. However in doing that I learned so much about how it is all constructed in that time.

One of these events included somehow getting my GitHub development and master repositories terribly misaligned. My local copy was good though. In trying to fix the issue I inadvertently conducted a git pull from GitHub which completed an overwrite of my entire local working content directory! I basically had to start again.

Take away from build: Embrace the learning knocks, they make you stronger.
